India mein civil services ka charm kuch alag hi level par hota hai. UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) sirf ek exam nahi, balki ek mission hai jise crores of log har saal pursue karte hain. Har ek aspirant ka dream hota hai IAS, IPS, ya IFS officer banna. Lekin yeh raasta asaan nahi hota. Is blog mein Bloggi aapko pura UPSC ka breakdown dene wala hai — exam ka structure, preparation journey, emotions of aspirants, aur kaise aap bhi is sapne ko sakar kar sakte hain.
UPSC Kya Hai?
UPSC ka full form hai Union Public Service Commission. Yeh ek constitutional body hai jo India ke top-level government services ke liye recruitment karti hai jaise ki:
- IAS (Indian Administrative Service)
- IPS (Indian Police Service)
- IFS (Indian Foreign Service)
- IRS (Indian Revenue Service)
Yeh services India ke governance ka backbone hoti hain. UPSC exam ke through hi yeh officers select kiye jaate hain.
UPSC Exam Pattern
UPSC ka exam teen major stages mein hota hai:
1. Prelims
- Objective type (MCQ based)
- Do papers hote hain – GS Paper 1 & CSAT
- Sirf qualifying nature ka hota hai (CSAT)
2. Mains
- 9 papers total
- Descriptive answer likhne hote hain
- Language paper, Essay, GS 1–4, Optional Subject (2 papers)
3. Interview (Personality Test)
- 275 marks ka hota hai
- Candidate ke personality, presence of mind, aur logical thinking ko test kiya jata hai
UPSC Aspirants: Unka Jazba
Har saal 10+ lakh students UPSC ke liye apply karte hain, lekin sirf kuch hazaar hi Mains tak pahuch paate hain. Is journey mein:
- Kuch log job chod ke full-time preparation karte hain
- Kuch college ke saath prepare karte hain
- Kahi log 4–5 saal tak give up nahi karte
Yeh sab dedication aur ek motive ka symbol hai — "Desh ke liye kuch karna hai".
Struggles & Sacrifices
UPSC aspirants ki zindagi bahut disciplined hoti hai. Unke struggles kuch is prakar hain:
- Social life ka sacrifice
- Financial pressure (especially hostel/Delhi coaching fees)
- Mental stress and burnout
Par in sab ke bawajood, unka passion kabhi nahi marta. Yeh passion hi hai jo unhe top rank tak le jata hai.
